The Strategic Agency of New York enlisted our help for the second year in a row to execute a bi-coastal sports marketing activation for both the PAC-12 and ACC collegiate basketball tournaments held in Seattle, Las Vegas, and New York. The goal was to engage fans during each day of the tournament with fun giveaways and our eye-catching multi-camera array photo booth.
Fun sports props like foam hands, basket balls, and tissue confetti in New York Life’s blue and white colors were available so our 18 camera system could freeze the action and quickly display a branded animation on giant LCD displays around the space.
We developed a custom QR code scanning system that allowed guests to pre-register for the experience using their smartphone. Directly following each session, guests didn’t need to type in their email to receive their branded animation. Instead, they scanned the QR code from their phone screen and their shareable photo arrived instantly on their device.
This activation resulted in thousands of photo sessions and more than 100,000 impressions on social media.
